The Time Has Come, The Walrus Said

“There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story.”
― Frank Herbert

OK ladies and gents, dudes and dudetts: The time has come to say goodbye to the Tuckerbag Blog.

I've had a lot of fun and met a lot of great people. I've learned a lot about what I can do and about what people in general are capable of. Life changes and if you don't change with it then you're not living up to the potential of the future. I may be back to vehicle dwelling some day, I like to think I will, but for now I'm a teacher and looking for the next move.

I'm not going to drop of the face of the earth, you can still reach me at thetuckerbag@gmail.com and I'll keep the facebook page up and running for the time being.

Thanks for reading.

Ashley

  4. I doubt it's the right decision to stop blogging. You have a lot of potential and your blog was always interesting. But you are a grown-up girl and know what's best for you. Hope you will be back some time.
    Happy Journey!

  10. I certainly hope that you will come back if an when you go mobile again.
At least you made an entry telling us that you do not intend to write for awhile and your reasons for it.
I hate it when I'm reading a cool van dwelling or similar blog and the person just disappears after awhile. Especially when it's after a few years of regular writing. LOL, as laim as it may sound, in situations like that, I can go for years wondering what ever happend to that person.

  11. Oh wow.. I just got comfortable and was excited to finish catching up (since it's July now), I hit Next and see this. It struck me as so oddly abrupt that I can only assume that something happened, or you have a hard time saying goodbyes lol.

  12. How can I say goodbye? I've spent the last week reading your blog like a novel I couldn't put down. I'm sure I got here via a link on some vandweller's page, but quickly decided to start at the beginning and read the whole thing chronologically, because I love your values and your writing. Thank you for sharing, and I'll jump over to see you on Facebook.
